Well, here we are again on another drab Monday… well, perhaps some for you do like Mondays. Anyway, I’ve got a new video for you all early this week since it is in preparation for Valentine’s Day.

 This video is mostly directed toward any guys out there but, girls, you can still watch it of course, and if you like an agree with what I’m putting out there in the video, then share it on facebook or wherever so that you can help out your guy friends or perhaps your boyfriend/fiancé/husband in their quest to make their special Valentine feel loved, appreciated, just amazing! ;) So, guys, on request from one of my male supporters, here is some Valentine’s Day tips and advice to help you out – just click play.

So, was that helpful at all, guys? I hope so! It was really fun to try and give you guys my advice based on how I feel about Valentine’s Day and the things that I think really get across how much you care about this person. That you’re willing to take the time to do any one of these things I suggest, to possibly put yourself in a position to be “corny” for love – after all, love is corny! If you haven’t, at least once, done something corny in the name of love, then, well… I have to question if you’re not quite there yet ( he he)! Just do it, go for it! I promise, even if YOU feel silly, SHE will be like, “OMG, this is sooooo sweet!”.

How I Clean My Makeup Brushes & New, Fun Project!

Hi Everyone!

So today I have some fun news for you and an informative video. This video was a request I got on facebook since I made mention of my makeup brush shampoo in a previous video.

I’m showing you the products I use to care for my makeup brushes and how I like to use them to make sure my brushes are nice and clean… and I really like to stress the “nice ‘n clean” part… you’ll see if you take a look at the BLOOPERS at the end of the video. So here is the video… but don’t get distracted and forget to read the rest of this post :), I have some fun news to share!

So, now that you’ve watched that, you can see that I was a little repetitive… but it really is important to keep your brushes nice and clean…really!! :D Also, as I mention in my video, there are so many similar products out there, but I’ve been using these and they work, and I notice my skin staying clearer since I have been. There are a few other things I do that have helped, but I’ll save that for another post. How I Spent the Holidays - Part 2

Happy Monday, Everyone! I know what you’re probably thinking; ‘Happy’ and ‘Monday’ don’t belong in the same sentence, I feel ya, but that’s why I wanted to wish you all one, maybe it’ll help make it brighter! :D

So, today I wanted to get this post in for you guys since it was supposed to be up earlier in January and then things got crazy for me. It’s great to be back at it! I really missed you and sharing all that I can in creativity, inspiration, advice, and FUN! So let’s get on with it, then; my Holiday Post #2! On Christmas Day, after we all opened our gifts and had breakfast, we got ready and some of us (my Mom, sister, and I), who were able to, made the 2 ½ hour drive to surprise my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins with a Christmas visit. We always visit over the Holidays but rarely on Christmas Day. My mom really had her heart set on doing it this year and we all liked the idea… then some people got a bug that decided to make its presence known over night and that morning, and they had to stay home. But us girls had a good drive and great time spent with family when we got there and a tastey turkey diner. Mmmmm.

Next, let’s talk gifts!! I feel I was pretty spoiled with all the wonderful things I got. Here’s a couple pictures of a lot of the things I got. There were some other small stocking stuffers from Santa, like a nice Photography magazine, chocolates, candies, lip balms, ummm undies :P, and some other fun things. :) But these are most of my bigger gifts.

First 'First Impressions' Video - 3 Products

Finally, I’m back with a new blog post. I had a lot of set-backs with posting this month with my flight back after the Holidays was cancelled not once but twice. It was good to spend the extra time with my family so I didn’t mind too much but it did set things back a bit with my videos, and then I got sick right after I got home. It took me quite a while to feel better and to feel  healthy enough to record a new video so that it wouldn’t just be me coughing and sneezing and sniffling and just sounding awful… Eww! 

Now that I am feeling much better I do have a new video for you all. You may or may not notice that my voice in the video still doesn’t sound quite normal… or maybe it’s just me who can tell. Anyway, this is my very first ‘First Impressions’ video. I got a few products while I was away that I wanted to tell you guys about so let’s get to it. 

First I will show you a few pics and a quick intro to each product and then the video is just at the bottom of this post. :) So these are the products featured in my video:

Okay, so first up in the video will be this AWESOME pink, LIMITED EDITION COLOR Clarisonic Mia 2. I had been thinking about buying one after having seen many great reviews. It is a bigger purchase for me and I had to do a lot of thinking about it, but in the end I figure that if it helps with my skin (I have developed problem skin over the past 5 years or so) then it is worth the investment.

How I Spent the Holidays - Part 1

I hope you all had an amazing Holiday and got to spend tons of time with family and friends! That’s really the best part, isn’t it? :) 

Now that the Holidays are over I’m getting back into the swing of things here at The Creative Glow. After this coming week things should get back to normal with my usual posts and my usual schedule! For now, though, I’ve gotten this post together for you guys to share some of the fun I had over the Holidays! :)
