DIY Geometric Cement Candle Holders

Tuesday, April 5, 2016

You guys probably saw my Cement Project Inspirations post from a little while back--if not, check it out for some great ideas--now I bring you my own cement DIY - these Geometric Cement Candle Holders. Holy smokes; these were soo much fun to make!! For anyone who thinks this project seems "too difficult", I promise you, it is really super easy, and did I mention how much fun it is? The quick setting cement I used made this project much quicker to complete than you may think, as well!

I like a lot of the geometric decor that is floating around and figured I'd do something inline with that, but keep it pretty simple since this is my first time working with cement, so I made a simple triangular mould. With a little creative brainstorming, I figured out how to make the perfect hole for a tealight candle to fit in, then a little decorating, and voila! These awesome geometric candle holders were born! You could go all out and get pretty creative with different shaped moulds, really, and obviously your decorating possibilities are endless...so many awesome decor possibilities!!! Anyhow, let's take a look at some photos of my cement candle holder and then the supplies list so you can get into the video!
