DIY Nail Wraps Video Tutorial & Additional Tips!

Monday, September 8, 2014

Hey Folks!

For all you out there who love having your nails looking great, today I have for you my DIY Nail Wrap tutorial.

I’ve been planning out showing you all this for so long now and am finally getting to it. I’ve started to see other people figuring it out for themselves, so I figure there’s no better time to get this tutorial to you all! This truly will revolutionize doing your own nails and getting really cute designs on them with ease. You know how hard it is to work on your nails using your non-dominant hand? This helps with that too and it makes creating straight lines much easier!

Scroll below the video to see additional tips for making these DIY Nail Wraps and without further ado, here is the video:

Additional Tips
      -   Starting with a Base Coat under your base color will help you to be able to lift them more easily since most Base Coats have quick
drying times. This will add 10 to 15 minutes to your start to finish though.
      -   Place dollops of the colors you’ll be using for your design to the side, like a paint pallet,  to dip your brush in rather than keeping your
polish bottles opened for long periods of time.
      -   Make sure you’re working or, at least, drying your wraps in a room that is at least room temperature – if the room is too cool it will
           increase your drying times.
      -   Create several designs in advance and, once dried, store them in a Ziploc bag so they do not dry out. Be sure to remove all air from
your storage bag and be sure to thoroughly seal. They will eventually dry out and become brittle, but they should keep for at least a
          few weeks. Experiment.

That’s it for this post! Let me know if you’ve got any comments or questions leave them in the comments section below this post and I’ll get back to you!

Wishing you beautiful nails!
