Hi All!

For this post I wanted to show you how I’ve made some really great Retro Lettered Candy Jars. With Halloween coming up these can really come in handy for organizing your children’s treats or leftover treats from trick ‘r treaters or just your regular goodies all year round!

Besides keeping your treats nice and organized, these are pretty cute too and they’ll keep your treats nice and fresh – always important! :) So, let’s take a look at what you’ll need to complete this project. It’s not much for this one:

What You’ll Need (CAN prices)
      -   3 different sizes of air tight jars with clamp closures  - IKEA priced at $1.49 for small, $2.99 for medium, and $3.99 for the large.
Walmart has these in a set or separate, either will be around $10 total.
      -   Martha Stewart Glass Paint, 2 colors – Opaque Gloss finish in Pool and Raspberry Ice, $5.99 per bottle at Michaels.
      -   Adhesive Stencil Roll – Martha Stewart $17.99 at Michaels.
      -   Lettering Template - I have provided you with the one I made. Scroll down to find that
      -   Tablet or Printer
      -   Permanent Fine Point Felt pen/marker
      -   Sponge Brushes – Walmart for 97¢ for a pack of 4.
      -   Rubbing Alcohol
      -   Frog Tape or Masking Tape
      -   My Tutorial Video (below)

And here is the template I made for my jars! Feel free to save it to your computer to use on this project for yourself. You have my permission to do so for this template – I made it to share! :) Just click on the photo to get the full size template.

Alright, so here is the video. Also, if you’re wondering where I got my yummy treats – Bulk Barn! They have so many tasty treats and goodies… that’s a dangerous place to shop! J Mmmmm, chocolate macaroons… prestzels… sour fruit slices… and so much other yumminess… and all in BULK! Yum! Anyhow, a little sidetracked but, as I said, here is the tutorial :)

Well, I hoped you like that, guys! I’ll be starting my Halloween Makeup Tutorials here shortly! I’m really excited about that. Stay tuned to my facebook or twitter or subscribe to my YouTube channel to see when I’m posting those! Got some great ideas!

Happy Goody organizing!
