DIY Rubber Boot Flower Planters

Friday, May 22, 2015

Hey, Everyone! So, I haven’t gotten a whole lot of posts up for you all this month… I’ve had some things going on in my life, which perhaps I will touch on slightly in my Week in Review post this week… maybe. I haven’t decided if I should yet. But for now, for today, I do have a nice little DIY tutorial for you guys! Yippee! This one is pretty fun and pretty easy and really quick to do – DIY Rubber Boot Flower Planters. If you have a couple of free hours in a day, then that’s enough time to make yourself some of these beasts! AWE-some!

This Rubber Boot Flower Planter project is so simple and the video pretty much speaks for itself so I don’t really have any extra tips for this one, but I do have a supply list for you so here’s that:

THINGS YOU'LL NEED
   TO MAKE PLANTERS
   - Rubber Boots (Plain Black works best for this look)
   - Drill (at least 7/32 size bit)
   - Sandpaper
   - Flat White Rustoleum 2x Coverage Spray Paint (adheres to most plastics)
   - Acrylic Paints (assorted colors)
   - Paint Brush (about 1 ½”)
   TO ADD FLOWERS
   - Rocks (smaller size for better drainage)
   - Plastic Grocery Bags
   - Scissors
   - Potting Soil
   - Flowers (Of course)

That’s all that’s to the Rubber Boot Flower Planters! If you have any questions or comments after watching the video, leave me a comment below. And don't forget my Give-Away is open until end of day on May 24th. Too-da-loo for now!
